Le Grand Pique-Nique

Le Grand Pique-Nique is a gathering of all French Immersion schools in Louisiana. It is held in a different location every year. Participants can bring their own picnic, or purchase regional specialties to eat.

We didn't hold a Grand Pique Nique in 2008. It was too much work for Les Amis de l'Immersion to tackle. Our organization is undergoing a major development and we are focusing on grounding our base:

Parents, Teachers, Children and other French Immersion associations are the main components - we want to network and develop a clear, sound, working relationship with everyone of you. Not putting the buggy before the horse, we want to establish strong ties that will hold our future events properly.
